      2019 Boschendal "The Rose Garden" Rosé, Coastal Region

      Grapes: Merlot, Pinotage

      Tasting Notes: Enticing crushed summer berry aromas on the nose. The palate is soft and juicy, bouncing with succulent ripe strawberries, raspberries and mulberries tinged with a hint of spice. Finishes with great balance, freshness and fruity intensity.

      Food Pairing: A slice of brie over some crackers and topped with smoked salmon will be delightful snack to pair with this rosé.

      2019 Storm Point, Swartland

      Grapes: Chenin Blanc

      Tasting Notes: Savory bouquet of lemon curd, white flowers, nectarine zest and a sprinkling of sea water. There is moderate viscosity and fine-lined acidity with a touch of peach skin and elderflower on the palate. The bright finish is persistent and lingering.

      Food Pairing: All kinds of fresh seafood would pair nicely with this especially some fish & chips!

      2018 Boekenhoutskloof "The Wolftrap", Swartland

      Grapes:Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Grenache Blanc

      Tasting Notes: Fresh and inviting aromas of green apple, white peach and yellow plum, with hints of angelica and lemon zest. Complex flavors of nectarine, pear, peach and tangerine. The finish is vibrant and refreshing with hints of bruised apple, tarragon and honeysuckle.

      Food Pairing: This Viognier based wine will go wonderfully with Asian dishes like Pad Thai or curry.

      2019 Radley & Finch “The Prof’s”, Western Cape


      Tasting Notes: Charred cherry wood and cherry skins jumps out of the glass. Soft tannins and a nice acidic balance, dark red cherry flesh mingles with raspberry and finishes with a dry zippiness. This is a wine expressing the plush riper side of Pinotage and still reflecting a very subtle Old World feel. 

      Food Pairing: Best at barbecues with some tasty tenderloin or picnics at the park!

      2018 Boekenhoutskloof "The Chocolate Block", Swartland

      Grapes:Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Viognier

      Tasting Notes: Aromas of dark, ripe plums and blackberry with delicate hints of licorice, violets, cocoa and mint. The black fruit and perfume of the nose follow through onto a rich, savory palate with flavors of dark cherry, red currant, black olives and cured meat.

      Food Pairing: Excellent to any hearty meal, inclusive red meat or even a lasagna. Give it thirty minutes to open up, then revel in its glory.

      2012 De Toren “Z”, Stellenbosch

      Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot

      Tasting Notes: Complex, appealing aromas and flavors of dark berries, cassis and black currant with hints of spice and herbs. The well-integrated flavors are balanced by a delicate acidity and smooth tannins.

      Food Pairing: This wine is a very versatile food pairing wine. It works equally well with rich poultry dishes and various meats like lamb and venison.
