ABOUT THIS WINE:
This is an incredibly fun take on an easy drinking Spanish white wine, with most of the blend being comprised of Verdejo. The small amount of Muscat Canelli provides intense aromatics, with Meyer lemon, honeysuckle, and geranium on nose; white flower and jasmine also combine for an incredible bouquet. Peppermint and lime zest linger on an entry that brings to mind sipping sprite on the beach. Grated lemon and salinity complement a body that expands horizontally and includes fennel, citrus blossom, and Bermuda grass. Finish of grapefruit zest and stone.
ABOUT THIS PRODUCER:
Tarpon Cellars was founded in 2017 by veteran winemaker Jeremy Carter, with the focus of crafting wines of distinction from Napa Valley. It produces single-vineyard wines with fruit from Shifflett Ranch in Oak Knoll, and one dollar from every bottle sold goes to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Georgia. Despite being a Napa Valley wine, Tarpon Cellars has deep roots in the southeast, with a distribution focus in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
