Mary’s project aims to bring the village wines of Europe to the people. She sources wines that are honest & classic representations of their appellations… putting terroir front and center (organic farming, native yeasts, no new oak), yet with packaging that is transparent and easy to understand and a price point that is approachable to anyone. What she’s offering is essentially a virtual passport to Europe—an opportunity to learn to love wine the way most of us “wine people” do, as wines of place. Each one features the name of the vigneron, a map on the back that clearly places the appellation within its country of origin, and there is a wealth of information about each one to be found on her website
