Piedrasassi sources Syrah from select vineyards in the Santa Maria Valley and Sta. Rita Hills, and cultivates an estate vineyard in the Arroyo Grande Valley, some six miles from the ocean. Receptive to the daily rhythms of the Pacific’s cooling winds and pervasive fog, these valleys and, in particular, their constituent hillsides, are host to some of California’s most compelling terroir for Syrah.
