Francois Morissette is one of the most exciting producers in the Canadien wine world. He spent seven years honing his craft in Burgundy (Domaine Henri Gouges in Nuits-Saint-Georges and Domaine Roulot in Meursault) before taking root in Ontario—he is Quebecois. Metis is Cabernet Franc, with a little Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir. All fermented whole cluster, vinified separately, and then blended together. Fermented and aged in neutral demi-muid.
